Self-driving cars could reduce collisions, make our cities less polluted and reduce commuting times. But would you feel safe in one? How will driverless cars change our society, and who will benefit from this technology? Until recently the idea of a computer driving a car seemed impossible. However now tech companies say a driverless future is inevitable. Join us and have your say. The aim of this event is to invite members of the public to come along and engage in a dialogue with experts, researchers and institutions like the Science Museum in order to broaden the debate about self-driving cars.

This event is part of ESRC’s Festival of Social Science.
